In 2005 the network held a Train the Trainer weekend in Killkenny in conjunction with the Broadcasting Commission of Ireland This was a two day course designed to instruct two staff members from each station on how to design and deliver training modules for staff at all member stations.

Following this event the network is formed a sub committee to investigate training needs fro each station
