The Irish Hospital Radio Network Network was founded in 2004 in conjunction with the Broadcasting Commission of Ireland as a representative body for existing Hospital Stations and to promote and support the development of new stations.The Founder members were Beaumont Hospital Broadcasting Dublin, Cork University Hospital F.M., Mater Hospital Radio Dublin, Regional Hospital Radio Limerick, South Tipperary General Hospital Radio and St Ita's Hospital Radio Dublin.
